An eTAG stores vital information that will be invisibly detected by an RF machine located at the Entrance Gate of SLEX Tollway.

For the communter to successfuly enter the "ePASS" Tollgate, The car must have an eTAG, properly mounted in the windshield.

If the machine detected an eTAG, a vehicle information will be collected and once the information has been gathered, it will automatically raise the gate and the vehicle is free to pass in the expressway.

It is not possible to pass on the "ePass" Tollgate without an eTAG Kit mounted on the car's windshield.
